General Rules
This will be a double elimination bracket. The games are all free-to-play and are as follows:Click on the links above for details on exact settings, specific rules for each game and a download link.
Per-Match Rules
- Each Team must be present in the Triathlon Discord channel at the scheduled time of their match. Each team has a maximum 10 minute grace period to deal with small technical problems (e.g. someone requires a computer re-start). If a team is not present and ready to play after that grace period, their team will forfeit the match.
- Each match in the tournament will be decided by a team winning best 2 out of 3 games.
- Each team will select one member to roll a d20 in Discord (type !roll 1d20 into text channel). The team that wins the roll gets to select the first game the teams will compete in.
- Competitors will launch the game and set up their match as seen above in the per-game details.
- The team that loses the first game will select the second game to be played.
- After two games, if the teams are tied at 1 win, the final game will be played to determine the winners.
- Both teams must communicate who won the match to TypicalToast (he will either be present for the match, or you can send him a message on Discord).
General Rules
- You MUST have downloaded, installed and patched all of the above games before your first match of the tournament begins. If any member if your team has not done so and cannot enter the match game lobby within 10 minutes of the start time of your match, your team will forfeit.
- You MUST have done any initial setup required in each game before your first match of the tournament begins (e.g. gone through the required tutorial in FSB). You will not be allotted any additional time to do tutorials or set up custom control schemes.
- ONLY items and equipment available to new users are allowed. In HOTS for example, only characters in the current free rotation are allowed. No special move cards or power-ups are allowed in FSB, etc... Purely aesthetic content you may own for any of these games IS allowed (e.g. character skin in HOTS). It MUST not affect game play in anyway.
- The teams will be randomized using this website.
- Any disputes between teams will be resolved by TypicalToast - the tournament administrator.
