Rules

The format of this tournament is a single-elimination bracket. This tournament will start and finish on the same day (expecting the run-time of the tournament to be between ~2-4 hours).

Per-Match Rules
  • Each player has a maximum 10 minute grace period to deal with small technical problems (e.g. someone requires a computer re-start). If a player is not present and ready to play after that grace period, they will forfeit the match.
  • Each match in the tournament will be decided by a player winning best 2 out of 3 games. The final match will be decided as a best of 5 games.
  • You may switch decks freely between games in your match, but you will not be allowed time to construct a new deck. Once a match has begun, players will have a maximum of 30 seconds between games to lock in their deck and begin playing.
  • If a player gets disconnected from a game, they may try to re-connect while the game is still in progress, but the outcome of the game is final. So if you lose because of a disconnect, you still lose!

General Rules
  • You MUST have downloaded, installed and patched the game before your first match of the tournament begins. If you have not done so and cannot enter the match game lobby within 10 minutes of the start time of your match, you will forfeit.
  • You MUST have done any initial setup required by the game before your first match of the tournament begins (e.g. gone through the required tutorials, etc...). You will not be allotted any additional time to do tutorials or set up custom control schemes.
  • Each player must be present in the Tournament Discord channel at the tournament's scheduled start time. 
  • There are no restrictions for making your decks.
  • Any disputes between teams will be resolved by TypicalToast or SargentAngle - The tournament administrators.
